Overview

Vohra Wound Physicians is seeking a Part-Time Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician in Batavia, NY. This position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility, with no nights, call, or weekend responsibilities, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals
  • Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
  • Utilize proprietary wound-specific EMR for clinical documentation in real-time
  • Participate in paid training and a wound care fellowship
  • Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients

Required skills

  • Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the applicable state
  • Experience in wound management and patient care
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation and EMR utilization
  • Ability to collaborate and work flexible hours
