Overview

Children's Minnesota is looking for a Pharmacy Technician I-Float to support various ambulatory departments by covering staffing shortages and assisting with daily operations. This role entails traveling between pharmacy locations, filling prescriptions, performing sterile compounding, managing inventory, and providing customer service under pharmacist supervision, all while adapting to different workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Cover staffing shortages in various ambulatory departments
  • Travel between pharmacy locations in Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses
  • Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
  • Perform sterile compounding and manage inventory
  • Deliver customer service to patients and clients

Required skills

  • Active technician registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy or active registration as a pharmacy intern
  • Pharmacy technician experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt to different workflows and pharmacy computer systems
