Overview

The Pharmacy Manager at UnitedHealth Group will oversee pharmacy operations in Klamath Falls, Oregon, ensuring a high standard of care and service delivery. This role focuses on building relationships with both consumers and clinic partners, leading a team of pharmacy staff, and promoting wellness services while driving financial profitability and market growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Create a great consumer and clinic partner experience.
  • Counsel and educate patients on medications and personal queries.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
  • Perform wellness services including immunizations and flu shots.
  • Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff.
  • Build relationships with the community and clinic partners.
  • Drive marketing plans to promote pharmacy offerings.
  • Conduct workforce and business planning for operational excellence.
  • Review key performance indicators and identify improvement opportunities.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist's license in Oregon
  • Certified immunizer or willing to become one
  • Ability to travel for training
  • 2+ years of pharmacy leadership experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Expertise in team leadership and development
  • Knowledge of business planning and marketing strategy
