Overview

The Pharmacy Manager will oversee pharmacy operations in Klamath Falls, Oregon, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role involves building relationships with clinic partners and the community, providing patient education on medications, and leading pharmacy staff to deliver exceptional service while driving operational excellence and financial growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Create a positive experience for consumers and clinic partners
  • Counsel and educate patients about medications and immunizations
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and state/federal laws
  • Drive financial profitability and identify growth opportunities
  • Motivate and develop pharmacy staff to achieve their potential
  • Build strong relationships with the community and stakeholders
  • Review performance indicators and implement improvements
  • Conduct workforce and business planning for operational excellence
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for pharmacy offerings

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist's license in Oregon
  • Certified immunizer or willing to become certified
  • 2+ years of pharmacy leadership experience
  • Strong customer service and team leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and develop others
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial management
