The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare plays a vital role in serving behavioral health and addiction treatment communities by overseeing pharmacy operations and providing quality pharmaceutical care. This position involves leading a team, managing daily operations, and ensuring patients receive appropriate medication and counseling, while also driving growth and efficiency in the pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

  • Create a positive experience for consumers and clinic partners
  • Serve as a clinical expert and collaborate with healthcare staff
  • Counsel and educate patients on medication usage and effects
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
  • Perform wellness services such as immunizations and preventive care
  • Oversee financial profitability and identify growth opportunities
  • Motivate and develop pharmacy staff to enhance service quality
  • Build relationships with community stakeholders and clinic partners
  • Drive marketing efforts to promote pharmacy services

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist license in the state of Indiana
  • Certified immunizer or willing to obtain certification
  • 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses and certifications
