Overview

The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare plays a vital role in supporting behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. This position entails overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care, and fostering relationships with consumers and clinic partners. The manager will also coach and develop pharmacy staff while driving the financial and clinical performance of the pharmacy.

Key responsibilities

  • Create a positive experience for consumers and clinic partners
  • Serve as an expert for clinical staff to meet clinical outcomes
  • Counsel and educate patients on medications
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws
  • Perform wellness services such as immunizations
  • Drive financial profitability and identify growth opportunities
  • Motivate and develop pharmacy staff
  • Create an engaging team environment and promote core values
  • Build strong relationships within the community and with stakeholders
  • Drive marketing plans to promote pharmacy offerings

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist's license in New Mexico
  • Certified immunizer or willingness to become one
  • 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Knowledge of technical and functional skills in pharmacy operations
