Overview

The Pharmacy Manager at Genoa Healthcare is a vital role responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations in Richmond, Indiana. This position requires financial, clinical, and quality oversight of pharmacy services, along with staff management and ensuring exceptional patient and clinic partner experiences. The manager will provide coaching, develop the pharmacy team, and ensure compliance with both state and federal laws.

Key responsibilities

  • Create a great consumer and clinic partner experience by building relationships
  • Counsel and educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects
  • Ensure pharmacy operations comply with state and federal laws
  • Perform wellness services such as immunizations and preventive services
  • Drive financial profitability and identify growth opportunities
  • Motivate, develop, and coach pharmacy staff
  • Conduct workforce and business planning for operational excellence
  • Build strong relationships with community stakeholders and partners
  • Drive marketing plans to promote pharmacy offerings

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
  • Current pharmacist license in Indiana
  • Certified immunizer or willingness to become one within 3 months
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • 3+ years of pharmacy leadership experience (preferred)
  • Willingness to obtain pharmacist license in Ohio within 3 months (preferred)
  • Authorization to administer long-acting injectables (preferred)
