The Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is seeking a Relief Pharmacy Call Center Agent for their Central Fill Pharmacy in Moxee, WA. This role is integral in providing customer service and support to patients while promoting pharmacy services.
Key responsibilities
Handle incoming and outgoing non-professional level phone inquiries
Update patient demographic information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Respond to inquiries about business hours, delivery services, price information, and prescription status
Ensure seamless sign-up for newly enrolled mail-order patients
Promote and educate patients on pharmacy services, including mail order and auto-refill processes
Complete third-party rebilling process and contact insurance companies for authorization
Act as a liaison between staff and supervisors, managing breaks and employee performance insights
Provide training to new hires and perform quality audits as directed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required skills
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
One year of experience in pharmacy assistance, office administration, patient care, call center, or customer service
Pharmacy Assistant state registration within 60 days of employment
Bilingual communication in English and Spanish at level 9 required
Knowledge of medical billing and terminology
Effective communication and customer relations skills
Conflict resolution abilities and teamwork proficiency
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with multitasking capabilities
Attention to detail and basic 10-key proficiency
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
