Overview

Join Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic as a Relief Pharmacy Call Center Agent in Buena, WA. This role is pivotal in offering patient support and managing pharmacy operations while being part of a community-focused healthcare organization dedicated to improving health and well-being in the Pacific Northwest.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone inquiries
  • Update patient demographic information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Respond to inquiries regarding business hours, delivery services, and prescription status
  • Assist with the enrollment process for mail-order patients
  • Educate patients on pharmacy services including mail order and auto-refill
  • Complete third-party rebilling and contact insurance companies for authorization
  • Perform lead duties, managing breaks and providing insights on employee performance
  • Train new employees and perform quality audits as directed

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of experience in pharmacy, administrative, patient care, call center, or customer service
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish at a level 9
  • Knowledge of medical billing and terminology preferred
  • Effective communication and customer relations skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Pharmacy Assistant state registration within 60 days of employment
