Equinox is seeking a Personal Trainer for their East 53rd Street location in New York. The role involves building and maintaining a client base while providing exceptional service and guidance in fitness. Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain an active client base
  • Manage and maintain an accurate schedule of client appointments and meetings
  • Market and sell personal training programs to members and clients
  • Execute fitness assessments and guided workouts for members
  • Create and coach personalized fitness programs for clients
  • Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts
  • Attend Continuing Education classes to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Participate in required meetings with management

Required skills

  • Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Passion for health and fitness
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Basic computer and technology skills
  • Ability to work in-person during weekdays and weekends
