Job Description Job Description Personal Injury Senior Associate Attorney - LitigationMakkabi Law Group, APC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Personal InjurySenior Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This role requires a seasoned attorney capable of managing all aspects of personal injury litigation, from pre-litigation through trial. The ideal candidate will have first or second-chair trial experience, a strong background in handling complex cases, and the ability to lead legal strategies effectively.Key Responsibilities:Conduct case investigations, assess liability, and develop litigation strategiesOversee and monitor clients' medical treatment while maintaining regular communicationManage case files, draft demand letters, and negotiate claims and settlementsDraft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responsesTake and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses, and expertsEngage in meet and confer efforts to resolve discovery disputesRepresent clients in mediation, arbitration, and settlement conferencesServe as first or second chair in trial, assisting in jury selection, direct and cross-examinations, and case presentationPrepare for and participate in courtroom hearings, arbitrations, and trial proceedingsQualifications & Skills:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive California Bar membership in good standing5+ years of personal injury litigation experience requiredFirst or second-chair trial experience requiredStrong legal research, analytical, and writing skillsExcellent negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skillsAbility to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environmentExceptional verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet strict deadlinesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamCompensation & Benefits:Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per year with discretionary bonuses (commensurate with experience)401(k) with matchingHealth, dental, and life insurancePaid time offEmployee discountsProfessional development assistanceSchedule & Work Location:Full-time (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM)In-person role in Beverly Hills, CALocation Requirement:Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Beverly Hills, CA 90212 prior to starting work.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit:ResumeWriting samplesSalary expectationsWe appreciate your interest in joining Makkabi Law Group, APC, and look forward to reviewing your application.
