Overview

Heuser & Heuser, LLP is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join their downtown Colorado Springs office. This role focuses on pre-litigation tasks, managing cases from intake through settlement, while serving as the main point of contact for clients and ensuring timely progress of cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and communication
  • Manage an active pre-litigation caseload and track deadlines
  • Draft correspondence and settlement demand packages
  • Request and organize medical records and bills
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing updates and answers
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters and other parties involved in cases
  • File and manage case documents effectively

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in legal services, preferably in personal injury law
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with case management and legal document drafting
  • Familiarity with medical records management
