Job Description

Overview

The Personal Injury Paralegal position at Coda Staffing is part of the Case Management department, focusing on all phases of single-event injury claims, from inception to settlement or trial. The ideal candidate is expected to have relevant experience in personal injury or insurance defense and must possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews with claimants or their representatives
  • Perform investigations from intake to settlement or trial
  • Coordinate and follow up on claimants' treatments and record retrieval
  • Review and annotate medical records according to procedures
  • Serve as the point of contact for claimants and other related parties
  • Interpret and disseminate information concerning claims
  • Schedule claimant appointments and manage calendars
  • Maintain up-to-date case notes and administrative duties

Required skills

  • AA Degree
  • Previous experience in Personal Injury, MedMal or Insurance Defense
  • Strong communication skills
  • Time management
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Data entry skills with various software programs
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
