Overview

Springs Law Group LLC is seeking a high-performing Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join their remote team. This role is crucial for ensuring that legal files are trial-ready and that court filings are executed flawlessly, requiring a proactive approach to documentation and communication with clients and attorneys.

Key responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, and e-file summons, complaints, motions, and comprehensive discovery responses with precision.
  • Manage the lifecycle of litigation cases within Filevine, updating the Activity Feed and completing tasks.
  • Use Slack for real-time strategy and team communication while managing high-priority litigation tasks.
  • Maintain a rigorous master calendar of court-mandated deadlines, hearings, and depositions.
  • Organize medical records, index document productions into digital trial notebooks, and coordinate witness schedules.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during litigation, explaining processes and case milestones.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of personal injury or civil litigation experience
  • Proficiency in Filevine, Slack, and e-filing (State and Federal)
  • Deep understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and HIPAA regulations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • Current Notary Public commission (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Remote readiness with a dedicated home office and high-speed internet
