The work happens before suit is filed: building the case, guiding clients through treatment and recovery, and negotiating outcomes that reflect what clients have actually been through.You'll learn by doing, with real mentorship alongside it. Partners and senior attorneys work directly with pre-lit attorneys, reviewing strategy and sharing guidance on active cases. There's no back corner where you figure things out alone.Prior personal injury experience isn't required. Sound judgment, clear communication with people under stress, genuine commitment to client outcomes, and the discipline to manage a real caseload with care and precision- those are what matter here.Compensation includes a base salary plus commission on fees from settled cases, along with health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), flexible PTO, and a hybrid work model.Compensation:$150,000 - $200,000Responsibilities:Client Representation & CommunicationMeet with new and prospective clients; listen carefully, ask the right questions, and establish a clear account of what happened and what the client needsServe as the client's primary point of contact throughout the pre-litigation phase; provide regular updates and honest assessments of case status and valueExplain legal processes, timelines, and options in plain language. Clients are often injured, stressed, and navigating unfamiliar systems. Clear communication is non-negotiableConduct site inspections when relevant to evaluate the facts of a case firsthandCollaborate with the intake team on initial client evaluations and case screeningCase Building & Legal StrategyAssess liability and damages across the firm's personal injury practice areas: auto accidents, premises liability, dog bites, wrongful death, and nursing home neglectConduct legal research on applicable statutes, regulations, and case law to develop effective claim strategiesGather and analyze medical records, accident reports, photographs, witness statements, and other supporting documentationIdentify and coordinate with appropriate experts to build the strongest possible case, including medical specialists, economists, vocational rehabilitation consultants, accident reconstruction experts, and engineersHelp clients connect with appropriate medical providers during their recovery; monitor treatment progress and track medical bills throughout the claims processTrack and document all case developments with accuracy and thoroughness. Clear, complete notes on every significant case activity, communication, and decision are a core expectation of this roleNegotiation & Case ResolutionDraft settlement demands that reflect the full value of each client's case. Attorneys are responsible for the final work product.
