Heuser & Heuser, LLP is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to represent injured clients during the pre-litigation phase, from case opening through resolution. This role emphasizes client communication and case building, allowing for mentorship from experienced attorneys while focusing on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Meet with new and prospective clients to establish case details and needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during pre-litigation
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case documentation
  • Draft settlement demands and negotiate with insurance and defense attorneys
  • Coordinate handoffs to the litigation department when necessary
  • Maintain organized and accurate case records and documentation
  • Supervise and mentor paralegals and legal assistants

Required skills

  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with case management software and AI tools
  • Empathy for injured clients
