Overview

Reciprocity Industries is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join their AVA Law Group in San Diego, California. This role involves representing clients harmed by negligence or wrongdoing and offers mentorship and hands-on experience in litigation. The attorney will work collaboratively within a team to develop case strategies and advocate for clients throughout the legal process.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent clients in various personal injury matters such as motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries.
  • Manage litigation matters including pre-litigation, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct initial case assessments and client interviews to evaluate case viability.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as necessary.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients regarding legal processes and case status.
  • Negotiate with insurance companies and other parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Ensure accuracy in case files and meet all procedural requirements.

Required skills

  • Active license to practice law in California
  • 2+ years of personal injury or litigation experience preferred
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms like LexisNexis or Westlaw
