Overview

The Personal Banker/Lead Customer Service Representative at Peoples Bank is responsible for daily operations, leadership in lending and business development, and supervision of staff. This role includes generating and managing consumer and mortgage loans while also engaging with the community and contributing to the overall growth of the bank.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate, negotiate, underwrite, and close routine consumer and mortgage loans
  • Manage loan portfolio, including collection of delinquent payments
  • Support business development and cross-selling of bank products
  • Assist in training staff and ensure compliance with bank policies
  • Supervise location staff and foster a positive work environment
  • Represent the bank in community affairs
  • Handle daily transactions and provide excellent customer service
