Edge Settlement Associates is seeking a Front-Facing Notary Closer for their title and settlement office in Reading, Pennsylvania. This client-focused role involves coordinating and conducting residential and commercial real estate closings while ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage approximately 300-600 closings annually.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct residential and commercial real estate closings professionally and efficiently
  • Deliver a positive customer experience for all parties involved in the settlement
  • Review and explain closing documents to buyers and sellers
  • Maintain professionalism during time-sensitive or high-pressure transactions
  • Notarize closing documents in accordance with state laws and company procedures
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth transaction flow
  • Review settlement statements and closing packages for accuracy
  • Manage multiple closings and deadlines effectively
  • Maintain organized transaction files
  • Participate in company training and operational meetings

Required skills

  • Active Notary Public commission or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in title, escrow, mortgage, banking, legal, or real estate
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and office technology
  • Knowledge of title and settlement software platforms like Qualia
  • Understanding of lender documents and compliance requirements
