Overview

MyMichigan Medical Center West Branch is seeking an Experienced Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their expanding team due to the opening of a new operating room. This is a full-time role with a day shift schedule, providing anesthesia care as part of a collaborative healthcare environment in a scenic location suitable for outdoor enthusiasts.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and preparations
  • Prepare the OR suite for various anesthesia types
  • Administer, manage, and monitor anesthesia care during induction, maintenance, and emergence
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluations
  • Ensure safety during anesthesia administration
  • Identify opportunities for improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Provide clinical support to other departments

Required skills

  • State of Michigan CRNA Licensure
  • NBCRNA certification
  • Experience with spinals, epidurals, venous catheters, and arterial catheters
  • Written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Windows
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications

  • Salary range: $200,000-$240,000
  • Overtime and on-call rate: 1.5x
