Overview

The Perioperative Float RN at OhioHealth provides general nursing care to patients in diverse acute healthcare settings. This role requires a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency while fulfilling responsibilities across various nursing tasks, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments
  • Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses
  • Evaluate and document response to nursing interventions
  • Actively participate in process improvement activities
  • Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties
  • Delegate nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs as appropriate

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or multi-state compact state
