We have an exciting opportunity to join our Securitas Team as an on-call Security Officer. Job Title: Security Officer Schedule: Per Diem Shift: Varied Schedule (Weekend Shifts and Night Shifts mandatory with the flexibility to work rotating schedules when needed) Location: Plainsboro, NJ $23.00 an hour Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards. Understand and comply with Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer. MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone). • Must have a reliable means of transportation Driver's License with a clean record. • Must have the legal right to work in the United States. • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
