Klamath Basin Behavioral Health is seeking a Peer Support Specialist for its Correction Based Community Services department. This full-time role offers meaningful work and the chance to empower individuals in their recovery journey while working with an interdisciplinary team in a supportive community setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with peers in various settings
  • Provide emotional support during clinic visits
  • Facilitate peer support groups for growth and recovery
  • Assist peers in setting recovery goals and achieving independence
  • Connect peers to community resources for long-term stability
  • Maintain accurate documentation per agency and regulatory requirements
