Overview

The Pediatrics Physician Assistant role at Pediatrica of Philips in Jacksonville, Florida, is a full-time position focused on providing value-based pediatric care within a supportive team environment. The position emphasizes work-life balance with minimal call responsibilities and a collaborative clinical model.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide top-tier pediatric care in an outpatient setting
  • Participate in a team-based care model with MDs, NPs/PAs, RNs, and MAs
  • Manage a patient load of 20-24 patients per day
  • Engage in limited call responsibilities, shared regionally
  • Contribute to shaping healthcare practices within a newly-founded health group

Required skills

  • Minimum of 1 year pediatric experience, preferably in outpatient or primary care
  • Clinical skills relevant to pediatric patient care
  • Experience with value-based care models
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically eCW (E-clinical works)
