Overview

A mission-centered Latinx nonprofit is seeking a Spanish-speaking Pediatrician to join their team in Chicago, IL. This organization is a top provider of quality care in the United States and focuses on serving the Latinx community, with an emphasis on patient-centered health care.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage ambulatory Pediatric primary care medical practice
  • Elicit patient histories and perform physical examinations
  • Provide accurate clinical diagnoses and evidence-based treatments
  • Participate in Quality Improvement activities
  • Maintain patient satisfaction through understanding health influences
  • Document patient care accurately and legibly
  • Educate and train healthcare professionals as needed
  • Participate in the Newborn Nursery in-house coverage schedule
  • Take call for assigned patients

Required skills

  • Pediatrics MD/DO
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Spanish language proficiency
  • Experience in community health and patient care
  • Ability to practice in a team-based model
