Job Description

Overview

Britt Medical Search is seeking a BE/BC Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician to provide evaluations, counseling, and treatment for children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral difficulties. The role includes conducting comprehensive assessments and collaborating within an interdisciplinary framework to enhance the health and well-being of the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct physical, developmental, and emotional-behavioral evaluations for children and adolescents aged 18 months to 21 years
  • Perform specialty assessments as needed, including genetic dysmorphology and ADHD evaluations
  • Provide treatment services, including psychopharmacology and parent counseling
  • Complete 8 to 10 evaluations and 40 medication follow-up appointments weekly
  • Attend and present in weekly Autism Center and Evidence-based practice clinical team meetings
  • Consult on neurodevelopmental issues with pediatric staff
  • Assist in developing specialized assessment and treatment programs
