Overview

Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking a Pediatric Ophthalmologist for a faculty position in Indianapolis. This role involves providing comprehensive pediatric ophthalmologic services, contributing to clinical education, and engaging in research with the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality pediatric ophthalmologic services including ROP, strabismus, glaucoma, cataract, and oculoplastics
  • Participate in ROP coverage for IUH Facilities and partner systems in the greater Indianapolis metro region
  • See a diverse pediatric population and adult strabismus cases with a volume of 120-150 per week
  • Engage in clinical education and supervision of residents
  • Contribute to research opportunities in ophthalmology

Required skills

  • Fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus
  • Experience in evaluation and treatment of ROP
  • Board Eligible/Certified in Ophthalmology
  • MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure
