Overview

The Pediatric Intensivist Physician Assistant role offers an acute care locum tenens opportunity in Oregon, specifically in the inpatient Pediatric Cardiac ward with a secondary focus in the PICU. This position involves working collaboratively and independently to care for children with congenital heart disease within the Heart Center.

Key responsibilities

  • Rounding on Heart Center program patients
  • Conducting history and physicals (H&Ps)
  • Performing inpatient cardiology consults
  • Managing and treating common Pediatric acute and chronic health diagnoses
  • Working in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU)

Required skills

  • Board certified
  • Oregon license or willingness to apply
  • 1+ year of inpatient experience
  • Epic EMR proficiency
  • Healthcare collaboration skills
