Overview

The Pediatric Intensivist Physician Assistant position is a locum tenens opportunity in Oregon, specifically in Portland. The role involves caring for children with congenital heart disease in an inpatient Pediatric Cardiac ward as part of the Heart Center within the Division of Cardiology.

Key responsibilities

  • Rounding on Heart Center program patients
  • Conducting history and physical exams (H&Ps)
  • Performing inpatient cardiology consults
  • Managing and treating common Pediatric acute and chronic health diagnoses
  • Working collaboratively and independently

Required skills

  • Board certified
  • Oregon license or willingness to apply
  • 1+ year of inpatient experience
  • Experience in Pediatric Care
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR
