Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to work in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The facility provides comprehensive care with a well-established NICU and handles a diverse range of pediatric cases, offering both a vibrant urban setting and the convenience of access to major cities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide coverage for healthy newborns
  • Attend deliveries and provide in-house NICU coverage at night
  • Handle occasional minor Pediatric ER consultations
  • Admit patients to the NICU overnight with limitations
  • Work specific dates in November, including Thanksgiving Day
  • Average 8 shifts per month

Required skills

  • Certified in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation)
  • Clean background for emergency privileges
  • Connecticut medical license
  • Experience in Pediatric Emergency Care and Hospital Medicine
