The PCB Layout Design Engineer role at Amarx Search, Inc. involves working on state-of-the-art printed circuit boards for a large defense technology company. The position requires collaboration with a skilled engineering team to influence mission success while utilizing advanced PCB design software and processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize PADS software to incorporate schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing inputs into PCB designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional design teams to resolve fabrication, assembly, and test issues.
  • Update design files and documentation while maintaining proper PLM file structure.
  • Validate the integrity of PCB design packages by ensuring alignment of various design elements.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience (2 with Master's, or 8 with no degree)
  • Experience with PCB design software such as PADS, Xpedition, Cadence, Valor
  • Knowledge of PCB design elements including schematic, BOM, mechanical, fabrication, and assembly
