Job Description

Overview

Southern Scripts is seeking a fully remote Proposal Strategist/Writer to manage complex proposals in the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) industry. This role involves collaborating with leadership to develop customized responses to RFx documents, ensuring compliance, and articulating solutions inline with client needs and brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage high complexity proposals and develop strategic content tailored to client needs.
  • Create new proposal text by collaborating with subject matter experts.
  • Perform compliance reviews and quality checks of proposals.
  • Develop proposal calendars and project plans to track progress.
  • Provide proposal health updates to leadership and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate color team reviews and facilitate discussions on proposal concerns.
  • Analyze technical documentation to understand client requirements.
  • Format responses in alignment with brand standards.

Required skills

  • 4+ years of competitive proposal writing experience in PBM or healthcare.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with proposal management tools and online procurement systems.
