Overview

The Payroll/HRIS Analyst at Anderson Dahlen plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and managing HR information within the HRIS. This position involves collaborating with various HR functions throughout the employee life cycle in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Process payroll for multiple shifts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage laws.
  • Review and audit timekeeping data, PTO, and employee changes before payroll submission.
  • Manage employee data for new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes with necessary documentation.
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee support.
  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll and HR-related inquiries.
  • Design and maintain HRIS to support data management and reporting needs.
  • Create standard and ad hoc queries or reports for data analysis.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance for reporting and process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in payroll or bookkeeping.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR functions.
  • Experience with Paylocity and M2M preferred.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance.
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation and HR compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
