Job Description

Overview

The Payroll/HRIS Analyst at Anderson Dahlen will play a vital role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and managing HR information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The position involves collaborating with various HR functions across the employee lifecycle, as well as maintaining data integrity and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Process payroll for multiple shifts with accuracy and compliance
  • Audit timekeeping data, PTO, and employee changes before payroll submission
  • Manage employee data for new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and employee support
  • Serve as a contact point for payroll and HR-related inquiries
  • Design and maintain HRIS for data management and reporting needs
  • Create queries or reports and provide data summaries for strategic planning
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of HR data
  • Collaborate with HR and finance for reporting and process improvements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in payroll or bookkeeping
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR functions
  • Experience with Paylocity and M2M preferred
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and reporting
  • Knowledge of onboarding, benefits, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation and HR compliance regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems
  • Attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
