This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. You'll play a key role in supporting employees and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. Key Responsibilities - Payroll Specialist Process weekly and biweekly payroll for a multi-state workforce Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions and benefits Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll issues promptly Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on payroll-related matters Qualifications - Payroll Specialist 2+ years of payroll processing experience preferred Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms) Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principles Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
