Overview

The Payroll Specialist at Marriott International is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of payroll data while maintaining comprehensive payroll records. This role involves processing payroll, handling employee inquiries regarding payroll, and developing collaborative relationships within the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
  • Organize and maintain files and records in accordance with policies
  • Record and analyze financial and payroll information
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports and tables
  • Maintain employee payroll records and files
  • Review and reconcile hours worked and pay adjustments
  • Process and issue employee paychecks and statements
  • Provide payroll information to employees and management
  • Adjust settings in the time clock system as necessary
  • Follow company policies and maintain confidentiality
