Overview

Join Noble Casing Inc as a Payroll Specialist, where you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for 350 employees across four divisions. This role requires attention to detail and expertise in payroll systems to support the financial operations of the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Process and manage payroll weekly for 350 employees
  • Calculate and verify employee hours, wages, and deductions
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations at federal, state, and local levels
  • Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts
  • Document transactions related to employee wages
  • Prepare payroll tax filings and generate W-2s
  • Prepare payroll reports for management
  • Coordinate with employees on payroll issues and updates
  • Maintain and update payroll records
  • Manage direct deposit setups and changes
  • Address payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
  • Participate in audits by providing payroll information
  • Perform system testing for software upgrades and integrations

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Paylocity, ADP)
  • Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices and compliance requirements
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing is a plus
