Job Description

Overview

The Payroll Coordinator at US Tech Solutions will support approximately 950 hourly employees by overseeing the payroll process, ensuring compliance with operational and accounting controls. This role requires flexibility in work hours to meet payroll deadlines and assist with payroll-related inquiries.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee editing and verification of hourly workforce daily time punches
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees and weekly payroll for contingent workforce
  • Ensure Sarbanes Oxley controls are in place and functioning throughout the year
  • Process payroll deductions and additional earnings in a timely manner
  • Assist with tracking attendance within plant policy
  • Address payroll questions from employees both onsite and through Service Now
  • Process incoming garnishment orders and set up new vendors
  • Act as subject matter expert for ad hoc payroll requests and provide input on payroll rules
  • Assist with annual wage updates for hourly employees
