Job Description

Overview

Sangoma is looking for a Payroll & HRIS Coordinator to support payroll processing and HR administrative functions, ensuring accurate and compliant operations across the organization. This role involves maintaining payroll accuracy, managing employee lifecycle processes, and ensuring the integrity of employee data while partnering with various teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for employees across multiple locations
  • Review payroll data for accuracy, including hours worked, deductions, and bonuses
  • Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal departments on payroll issues
  • Support year-end payroll activities, including tax forms and reporting
  • Maintain and update employee information within the HRIS system
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support employee benefits administration and generate necessary reports
  • Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy in employee files
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and HRIS

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
  • Strong knowledge of payroll practices and compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information professionally
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience supporting multi-state or international payroll is a plus
  • Payroll certification (CPP, PCP, or similar) is an asset
