Overview

The Payment Operations Lead at Park State Bank is responsible for coordinating day-to-day payment operations, including ACH, wires, and Treasury Management services. This role involves quality control, training, and management of operational workflows while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily work assignments and queue management
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for complex processing questions
  • Perform quality reviews on payment activities
  • Assist in updating procedures and maintaining job aids
  • Contribute to reporting on volumes, exceptions, and errors
  • Monitor payment and Treasury Management workflows to ensure timely task completion
  • Provide oversight of payment activities to safeguard against fraud
  • Assist with internal and external audits

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in payment operations or related banking operations
  • Strong preference for experience with SilverLake core processing systems
  • Experience with third-party fintech or payment service providers
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), National Check Professional (NCP), or Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) ce
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
