Job Description

Overview

The Payment Operations Lead at Park State Bank is responsible for overseeing daily payment operations, including ACH, wire transfers, and treasury management service setups. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls while driving quality control and reducing operational risks.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily work assignments and queue management
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for complex processing questions and client needs
  • Perform quality reviews on activities and ensure documentation is completed accurately
  • Assist in partnering with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues
  • Contribute to reporting on volumes, exceptions, and errors
  • Monitor payment and Treasury Management queues for timely task completion
  • Stay informed of changes in payment regulations and implement necessary updates
  • Assist with internal and external audits

Required skills

  • 3-5+ years in payment operations or related banking operations
  • Experience with SilverLake core processing systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service focus
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Experience coordinating with third-party fintech or payment service providers
  • Professional certifications (Preferred): AAP, NCP, APRP
