Overview

H&K Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Paving/Roller Operator for their Lehigh Valley Division in Easton, Pennsylvania. This role involves operating roller equipment and performing paving activities to meet daily production goals on road construction projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate roller machine on road construction projects
  • Perform daily equipment checks to ensure proper operating condition
  • Maintain equipment by greasing and checking fluids daily
  • Assist with pre-run markings and fine grade before compaction
  • Direct traffic around work area as required
  • Notify shop foreman of maintenance or repair needs

Required skills

  • Experience with roller machines on highway road construction projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Capacity to utilize appropriate PPE as needed
  • Physical ability to meet job demands including lifting and movement
