Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Patient Food Services Manager 1 at UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. This role focuses on enhancing patient experience through leadership in food service management and collaboration across healthcare teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop service levels for the Patient Services Program
  • Oversee Sodexo's Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding including service recovery
  • Collaborate with clinical, food service, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient experience
  • Perform tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation, and accuracy
  • Exceed standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits
  • Manage and supervise hourly associates, focusing on employee development

Required skills

  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets
  • Strong management skills, preferably in healthcare
  • Experience with oversight of diet offices
