C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position Be able to work the following schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Are you a highly organized and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting patient journeys in a dynamic clinical environment? We are seeking a dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless administrative operations and a positive experience for every patient. In this role, you will be the welcoming face and voice for patients, directly impacting their access to care and the overall efficiency of clinical services. Your contributions will be essential in coordinating patient needs, streamlining processes, and providing crucial support to both patients and medical providers, ultimately contributing to a healthcare experience that prioritizes comfort and clarity. What You Will Do: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing check-ins, check-outs, and initial inquiries. Greet and welcome patients, assisting them with questions regarding appointments, payments, and schedules. Manage a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, and taking messages for clinic staff and physicians. Ensure all necessary verifications and authorizations are complete before patients see their providers. Communicate effectively with providers regarding scheduling preferences and respond promptly to urgent patient needs. Provide essential patient support using established reference documents and tools. Execute various administrative tasks, including maintaining information and paging directories, and processing internal forms. Utilize telephone systems and electronic medical records systems proficiently to perform assigned duties. Consistently meet or exceed organizational and departmental service standards. Address non-clinical inquiries and patient messages, escalating complex issues as appropriate. Manage and distribute incoming faxes, mail, and organize clinic-specific documentation. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Proficiency in medical terminology. Familiarity with computer systems and software relevant to administrative functions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for a professional setting. Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service, solve problems efficiently, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Working knowledge of Windows-based office software, computers, and operating systems. Adept at adjusting communication style to suit the needs and understanding level of diverse individuals. Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations. The target hiring compensation for this role is $25.37 an hour.
