Overview

The Patient Access Associate Specialist at Ensemble Health Partners is an entry-level role focused on performing admitting duties for patients at Benefis - East Campus in Great Falls, MT. This position emphasizes regulatory compliance and maintaining the organization’s mission while providing excellent customer service. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, and the role includes various responsibilities related to patient interactions, insurance verification, and data management.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform admitting duties for patients, ensuring compliance with organizational goals
  • Assign accurate medical record numbers and complete medical necessity checks
  • Collect and process patient insurance information and physician orders
  • Operates telephone switchboard and relays calls while providing excellent customer service
  • Utilize quality auditing and reporting systems to ensure account accuracy
  • Conduct pre-registration and gather patient information prior to visits
  • Explain and obtain necessary signatures on consent forms from patients
  • Review insurance verification responses and enter benefit data into systems
  • Screen for medical necessity using Advanced Beneficiary Notice software
