Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking a temporary Pathologists Assistant in Reno, Nevada. This role combines a high-volume workload with the opportunity to work independently while having support from nearby pathologists for consultation.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage high daily volume of specimens and blocks while ensuring quality standards
  • Work independently as the only Pathologists Assistant on-site
  • Consult and review specimens with pathologists as needed
  • Handle a variety of specimen types including routine surgical, oncology, dermatology, women's health, and small biopsies
