Overview

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a fellowship-trained Medical Renal Pathologist for a locum position in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves outpatient coverage starting February 2nd, with a need for ongoing support in a large pathology department that serves multiple hospitals within the IU Health network.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic services in Medical Renal Pathology
  • Collaborate with subspecialized pathologists and clinical teams
  • Engage in translational and clinical research activities
  • Promote innovation and excellence in education for medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Fulfill a daily schedule typically from 8 AM to 5 PM

Required skills

  • Fellowship training in Medical Renal Pathology
  • Any state medical license
  • Experience in diagnostic testing
  • Knowledge in clinical research
  • Familiarity with EMR-Cerner
