Overview

Calgon Carbon Corporation is seeking a Parts Room Technician I to join their Equipment & Assembly Plant in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is crucial in supporting the company's mission in environmental solutions, as the technician will be responsible for various warehouse operations including handling inventory parts, operating forklifts, and assisting with general warehousing duties.

Key responsibilities

  • Loads and unloads trucks using overhead cranes
  • Operates fork trucks and small power tools
  • Maintains and operates personal safety equipment
  • Handles snow clearance at assigned locations
  • Pulls and issues inventory parts for production
  • Locates and issues parts for daily sales orders
  • Packs and ships sales orders using UPS WorldShip
  • Weighs and loads carbon into small systems
  • Receives delivered parts and performs goods receipt transactions in SAP
  • Verifies quantities of received materials and documents cycle counts
  • Participates in yearly physical inventory process
  • Assists in other shop areas as required

Required skills
