We are currently looking for a Full-time Second Shift Parts Finishers at our Austin, TX facility. This position includes an hourly range from $19-$25, based on experience, including the Benefits shown below. Responsibilities: (Included, but not limited to)Mechanical Polishing: Polish metal parts (such as stainless steel) by hand or machine using tools like belt sanders, grinders, and buffers to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish. Inspect parts for surface defects and ensure they meet specifications.Electropolishing: Operate electropolishing equipment to improve surface finish and corrosion resistance. Monitor bath conditions to maintain consistent quality.Cleaning & Deburring: Clean parts using ultrasonic cleaners or acid baths to remove oils and contaminants. Deburr parts to remove sharp edges.Quality Control: Inspect parts using precision tools (micrometers, profilometers) to verify they meet customer specifications. Record processes and results for traceability.Equipment & Safety: Maintain polishing, cleaning, and electropolishing equipment. Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.QualificationsExperience: Mechanical polishing or electropolishing experience preferred (manufacturing or metal finishing).Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
