Overview

Apparent Technologies Inc is seeking Full-time Parts Finishers for their Austin, TX facility. The role is critical in supporting the semiconductor industry through mechanical polishing, electropolishing, and quality control, with opportunities for training and growth within the company. Candidates with prior manufacturing experience are preferred.

Key responsibilities

  • Polish metal parts by hand or machine to achieve a smooth finish
  • Inspect parts for surface defects to ensure quality specifications
  • Operate electropolishing equipment to enhance surface finish and corrosion resistance
  • Clean and deburr parts to remove contaminants and sharp edges
  • Perform quality control inspections using precision tools
  • Maintain polishing, cleaning, and electropolishing equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and keep the work area organized

Required skills

  • Mechanical polishing and electropolishing experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing or metal finishing environment
  • Comfortable handling chemicals and abrasive materials
