Overview

Apparent Technologies Inc is seeking a Full-time Parts Finisher for their Austin, TX facility. This role involves various methods of finishing metal parts, specifically for the semiconductor industry, and aims to ensure high-quality standards in the manufacturing process, with training and growth opportunities provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical polishing of metal parts to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operate electropolishing equipment for improved surface finish and corrosion resistance
  • Clean parts using ultrasonic cleaners or acid baths and deburr sharp edges
  • Inspect parts for surface defects and verify specifications using precision tools
  • Maintain polishing, cleaning, and electropolishing equipment and follow safety procedures

Required skills

  • Mechanical polishing experience
  • Electropolishing experience
  • Quality control expertise
  • Familiarity with tools such as micrometers and profilometers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a demanding environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
